So, here is a comic.
Craig had the thing done somewhere around midnight but passed out (in his Iron Man pajamas) before he could get around to publishing it. It’s Monday which means I am up to my ears in school work: journal analyses, studying for a final exam in Japanese, &etc. You will not coax many words out of me until sometime after Wednesday. There are officially three exams, two essays, two full-length papers and a comic book until I get a break and can start writing full time again. I’m hoping that unlike previous breaks, I’ll build up enough of a backlog of scripts that I will no longer need to take long absences from writing.
Christmas shoppers are already out in abundance. I had to warn off a group of women from purchasing a Kinect for their children. Honestly, I’m curious why anyone would subject themselves to new technology in its rawest form. Even we, the members of the group who cherish such technologies, feel it necessary to hold newness in our hot little hands before it is truly forged and ready. I like shiny things as much as the next person, but I’m perpetually behind the times because I force myself to wait for at least a majority of the kinks and bugs to get worked out. Craig, on the other hand, wants everything “now” while it is shiny. And he calls ME a dirty gypsy.
Aubrey out.
